My Teaching Philosophies

Aspiring to become an educator has revolved around my life for many years. After some transitions of being born in the state of Georgia in 2000 and then moving to North Carolina in 2008, I have been enveloped in various forms of educational facilities and educators who have presented different methods of how to acquire and take an interest in knowledge. Additionally, I have grown up alongside my mother who is a music professor, so I have been able to observe how the care and responsibility of accounting for students' well-being are crucial to a beneficial learning environment. Personally, being curious about the world is one of the earliest attributes that I noticed about myself. Whether it be nature, space, or people, I love finding out information and sharing it with everyone. More importantly, I do my best to speak on things that can become relevant and personal for any kind of individual to generate an entertaining conversation. By taking specific interests in religion and travel, I hope to bring my life experiences into my future classrooms so that students may understand that the past is more related to them than they believe.
